The consensus around insider selling is that it is a much trickier signal than insider buying (I fully agree), but there were certainly some signals for this AI sell-off.

The Companies with the Most Above Average Insider Selling list over the last 90 days is 70% AI stocks (the average stock on the list is down 15% since the last insider sale).

The Top Ranked Sales list is a "who's who" of the highest-momentum, lowest-quality names in the market. The average stock is down an astounding 34%.

The semiconductor industry had the lowest level of insider buying over the last decade.
