Software has put up a sneaky 15% 3m return (and is now 11th out of the ~75 ETFs I track).

We have been finding a lot of very compelling insider purchases in software land, as insider buying at software companies is the highest it’s ever been (outside of 2022).

Is software potentially turning things around? We own a few software stocks in the CEO Watcher Portfolio, so I hope so.

I’m going to put together a list of the highest-ranking insider purchases at software companies over the last few months and will share it with CEO Watcher Premium subscribers soon.

Largest Unscheduled Trades

There were 275 new insider trades filed.

No insider trades were flagged as High Signal, but I shared my notes on Nomad Foods (NOMD) and Strattec Security (STRT). Nomad is super cheap and returning a ton of capital to shareholders, but facing industry headwinds. Strattec has executed incredibly well over the last few years (growing revenue and gross margins significantly), but is also running into industry headwinds with NA light vehicle production guidance declining.
