The Top Ranked Insider Sales list cracks me up.

It’s a “who’s who” of the highest momentum, (arguably) overvalued names in the market, and they are down an average of 33% since the most recent insider sale.

You’ll see a ton of lamenting on Twitter about how this is the biggest momentum sell-off of all time. However, none of them mention that it was also the biggest momentum run-up of all time (and all the insiders were dumping the stocks).

Many of these names are up quite a bit in the pre-market after (another) announcement of Iran de-escalations, so we’ll see if these pops last or fade throughout the day.

There were 69 new insider trades filed.

Two stocks were added to the CEO Watcher Portfolio on the post-earnings dip. One company has a new CEO who appears to have delivered a “kitchen sink” quarter (truly one of the worst quarters ever), but is now set to turn things around (and multiple insiders bought the post-earnings dip). The other company was added to our High Signal List in May and ran 40% over the next 2 months, only to give all those gains back.
