Weekly CEO Watcher Update

Another very good week for the CEO Watcher Portfolio, which outperformed the S&P by over 3 points (4.62% v 1.21%).

This brings the overall performance to 24.93% (v 9.77% for the S&P).

As a reminder, the portfolio performance is actually closer to 30% because I accidentally placed a large purchase meant for my personal portfolio in the CEO Watcher Portfolio and had to sell during illiquid pre-market hours, which lost the portfolio 5%.

High Signal List

The CEO Watcher High Signal List (which contains all of the insider purchases we’ve marked as High Signal, not just the ones in the portfolio) also crushed the S&P this week.

Overall, the performance of the High Signal List has been very strong, especially considering there are very few AI-related names on it.

Insider Sentiment

Our favorite insider sentiment chart is starting to show insider sentiment fading slightly, but we are still well above the “bullish” threshold.

Nothing to worry about here.

S&P 500

The S&P continues to go nearly vertical. It looks very similar to both the late-2023 rally and the post-liberation-day rally (which both continued for many months).
