ππ Top CEO Trades This Week (July 14)
Including an insider with a 97% win rate and a billionaire CEO that keeps buying his own stock
This is CEO Watcher. We track the trades of the CEOs with the best historic returns so we can buy their stock when they do.
Insider Trades are really slow due to earnings seasons (most execs are in a blackout period), but we still found a couple this week:
A 10% owner with a 97% win rate
Dustin Moskovits continues to buy Asana stock

Not exactly sure how they were able to get shares for $5 this week as the lowest price was $5.40, but they have a fantastic win rate and pretty good returns (particularly for 1-year returns). A director also bought $100k of the stock this week
Historic Returns and Win Rate
Overall: 67% returns with a 97% win rate (31/32 trades)
1-year: 49% returns with a 94% win rate (29/31 trades)
90-day: 10% returns with a 60% win rate (19/32 trades)

Why: Very good returns, great win rate, and a sizable purchase (though not his biggest - he made a $1.6M purchase of $EPSN earlier this year when it was at $5.45). The stock is already a decent bit above where he bought it which removes some of the upside, but still a very strong opportunity.
π₯ Dustin Moskovits - CEO and Founder of $ASAN (link)
Picked up $6.9M more in stock this week (2 purchases) after taking a couple of weeks off from purchasing. His returns are terrible because he was gobbling up shares during 2022 as the stock crashed, but he is the CEO that has bought the most of his own companyβs shares (over $1B), so he is worth paying attention to.
Historic Returns and Win Rate
Overall: -42% returns with a 20% win rate (7/35 trades)
1-year: -66% returns with a 0% win rate (0/28 trades)
90-day: -47% returns with a 31% win rate (1/29 trades)

Current Price: $23.50 (+9%)

Why: This one really comes down to personal preference. His overall returns are terrible, but he has bought over a billion dollars worth of the stock over the last two years as the price continued to fall. He clearly has extreme confidence that the company will turn around, but has done a terrible job timing it. Is it possible that the bottom is finally in?
