Pretty great week for CEO Watcher Premium.

The Chief Executive Officer purchased 164,030 shares at $14.77/share ($2.42M total) which increased their holdings by 3.6%. The current price is $14.24 (-3.6%). (trade link)

This is also his second purchase of over $2M since December 21st.

Why: Sizable purchase, made by the CEO, really good 1m and 1y returns. Oddly, the 3m and 6m returns are a little crappy, but everything else looks great.

🥈 10% Owner at KalVista Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ($KALV)

The 10% Owner purchased 519,017 shares at $12.46/share ($6.47M total) which increased their holdings by 14.5%. The current price is $11.41 (-8.5%). (trade link)

Why: The only two things holding this back from being a 10 are that it isn’t an executive making the purchase and the stock has already jumped 30% this month. Everything else looks really good.

🥉 [SELL] Chief Financial Officer at Pure Storage, Inc. ($PSTG)

The Chief Financial Officer sold 26,257 shares at $35.89/share ($942K total) which decreased their holdings by 5.6%. The current price is $34.82 (-3.0%). (trade link)

I don’t typically include many sells in the weekly email, but it was a pretty light week on compelling insider purchases and the CFO selling almost $1M of stock on the open market with no pre-arranged plan is notable.
