Top insider trades (Thu, Nov 6)

Connor’s Commentary

We had a big spike in insider trades today with 249 new trades coming in (and it was another pretty bullish day). We found:

• 3rd day in a row with over 40% of the unscheduled trades being buys (well above the median of 33%)

• CS Disco (LAW) beat earnings after we found a director buying the stock a couple of weeks ago

• Relmada Therapeutics (RLMD) is up 10% in a couple of hours after we got a real-time alert in the Discord that the CEO and CFO were buying

• A director at OneSpan (OSPN) bought $600k of the stock (largest purchase ever)

• CFOs at Beacon Financial Corp (BBT) and Glacier Bancorp (GBCI) bought the stock

• The CFO at Flowserve Corp (FLS) sold $3.35M of the stock (first ever sale)

• A director at ONEOK (OKE) bought $165k of the stock. It’s his first purchase since 2023, and he has a pretty good track record

• The Senior Strategic Executive at First Horizon Corp (FHN) sold $3.3m of the stock. He has a pretty good track record on previous sales, and it’s interesting to see a notable bank sale after all of the notable purchases we’ve seen recently

Commentary

We had a nice start this morning with a quick 10% pop in RLMD after we got a real-time notification in the Discord (link) that the CEO and CFO were buying $1.7M of the stock. If you are a CEO Watcher Premium subscriber and want real-time notifs, make sure you are in the Discord and have turned on notifications for the all_trades channel.

After hours yesterday, CD Disco (LAW) had a nice earnings beat and 10% jump.

This was one of the first “high signal” notes I posted for CEO Watcher Premium members in the Discord (link).

It wasn’t the highest signal insider purchase, but the insider had great returns + a clear story (rev acceleration) + buying right before earnings, which gave us confidence. So far, so good with a big revenue beat.

And, of course, it was shared in the daily email as a Top Purchase.
